FBJC was founded in 1891 in its original location on the corner of Main and Baldwin Streets in downtown Johnson City. The Baptist Bible Seminary was founded at the church in 1932 and hosted there until it relocated to Clarks Summit in 1968. In 2010 our congregation embarked on a successful fundraising campaign and moved our current location on Reynolds Road. Over its long history, our church remains focused on its mission, rooted in preaching, teaching, evangelism, discipleship, and counseling.
